Rudy Pankow: Rising Star and Netflix’s Outer Banks Sensation

Rudy Pankow was born on August 12, 1997, in Ketchikan, Alaska, and grew up with two brothers. He developed a passion for acting at an early age by creating YouTube videos during middle school. Rudy was active in sports like soccer and cross-country and thought about multiple careers while in high school before deciding on acting. He was trained at Michael Woolson Studio and also gained stage experience with productions like "The Nutcracker" and "Mary Poppins," which laid a good foundation for his acting career.

Rudy began his professional career with guest roles and cameos in series such as Netflix's "The Politician," but his big break was in 2020 when he landed the role of JJ Maybank in Netflix's series "Outer Banks."
