Process + Technology = Transformation
As Supply Chain operational experts, we do not believe in applying technology like a band-aid. For full value and transformation, technology needs to be added to the appropriate and optimized process. That is why we employ a process maturity assessment: a short-duration, collaborative process to understand the core plan, source, make and delivery processes within the organization. Examples of these processes to be analyzed include demand forecasting, S&OP planning, control techniques, demand management and communication, and inventory accuracy. These processes are compared to 350 “best practice” process characteristics to assess the level of process maturity and integration.
In this exercise, we are able to identify key deficiencies within a customer’s current IT software infrastructure and highlight areas of greatest potential risk and opportunities for growth. From there, we work alongside you to determine a roadmap to value focusing on process and digital transformation.
As we drive process changes, we map the “as-is” current supply chain processes and develop the “to-be” processes that improve process cycle time and performance. Through this process, we develop KPIs to serve as indicators of process improvements and serve as the process change managers.
Once the process is where it needs to be, we will turn our attention to solution deployment.
